Fall First Dates Things To Do

By Lynne Hughes

A great time for dating is in the fall. There are just so many fun and festive things you and your date can participate in. With the weather still being very nice outdoors in most areas, not too hot or too cold, its almost perfect. Try to take advantage of the wonderful fall season with some great ideas for first (and more) dates.

1) Visit a pumpkin patch to choose your seasonal pumpkin. You'll have a lot of fun making your choice. It's so fun to act like a child again. There's a plus if they have a corn maze there, too.

2) Attend a wine festival or wine tasting with your first time date. You'll learn a lot about each other and the wine may take off some of the pressure of the date.

3) See if there is an Oktoberfest event in your area. They are excellent festive events that are very cultural. You and your date will have a blast, especially if you engage in the dancing.

4) Go to the park and check out all the fall leaves and their different colors.

5) Visit a haunted house. Of course, don't make this a surprise date. Your date may not be too happy about a haunted house surprise. If they are cool with it though, it can be a lot of fun and you'll have someone to hold onto throughout the tour.

6) A bonfire is a great way to get to hang out, relax and get to know someone. Add a bottle of wine to it and it's almost perfect!

7) Hayrides can be a lot of fun, especially if they are through some haunted woods. Grab your hot chocolate and apple cider.

Whatever date you choose, make sure choose something that both of you will enjoy and give you the chance to get to know each other. Remember to always be safe.
